Great and she captures the period exquisitely. From the first page I was hooked. The details and descriptions draw you in and don’t let you go. It’s a book that will keep you in it until the very last page.

I like a bit of possessive behavior but the hero was just so over the top that it made him unlikable for me. The heroine was disappointing to first she was this whimpering coward and where I felt disappointed was that she sold his mother’s jewellery to keep her secret I felt that was so cowardly and made her unlikable.
